National Robotics Week 2018 Events

Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship - VEX IQ - GRADE SCHOOL Division, Mid America Center

    Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, will build a robot using the VEX IQ robotics platform to solve an engineering challenge that is presented in the form of a game. VEX IQ Challenge teams will work together scoring points in Teamwork Matches, and also display their robot’s skills individually in driver controlled and autonomous Skills Challenges.

    he CREATE Foundation is proud to host the U.S. Open Robotics CREATE Jr. Championship, an opportunity for elite Robotics teams from across the country to compete with and against the best of the best. The USO has four divisions this year, High School, Middle School and CREATE Jr. - Grade School and VEX IQ - Grade School.

  • 2016 Quad Cities National Robotics Week Celebration, Putnam Museum

    Celebrate National Robotics Week 2016 with Quad City area FIRST Robotics teams and a robotics engineer from John Deere with a Baxter Research Robot! FLL Jr. Expo from 12:00-2:00. FLL, FTC, and FRC demonstrations from 12:00-3:00 pm.

  • Mason City-Waukee Co-Hosts, Prairieview School

    Welcome to the Mason City-Waukee Co-Host VEX Robotics Tournament. The intent and prupose of the tournament is for non-World qualifying teams to have one last opportunity to compete in the Nothing But Net game. The centralized location in Iowa should encourage middle school teams and new teams to participate in tournament play one more time this season. Awards will be given, though there are no advancement opportunities.
