Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • 2015 Robot and Technology Expo, Mineral Area College

    The 2015 Robot and Technology Expo is an opportunity for youth to demonstrate their knowledge, celebrate their accomplishments and interact with others who share their interest in robotics and programming. This event is open to all youth, not just 4-H members. It consists of several competitions: VEX Skills Events, VEX Skyrise Competition, a Robot Challenge Course, Robot Exhibition, a Scratch Programming Competition and a LEGO Building Competition. There will also be hands-on activities for families to enjoy and demos by Boeing, a robot hobby club, the Army engineering robots, and Arch Reactor hackerspace. Mini-workshops on Scratch programming, Makey Makey, Arduino microcontrollers, and the Raspberry Pi will be offered.

  • 10th Annual Robotics Design Challenge, University of Missouri

    Robotics Design Challenge is an event for K-8 youth, where they build LEGO-robots with a variety of sensors, and program them to accomplish a given task. The Challenge has been hosted annually since 2006 by the Center staff, in collaboration with K-12 teachers, 4-H and other community organizations. The goal is to introduce STEM skills at a an early age, and to motivate them to pursue science and engineering careers.

  • Mineral Area 4-H VEX Challenge, Mineral Area 4-H VEX

    The Mineral Area 4-H VEX Challenge is being held as part of the 2015 Robot Invitational, an opportunity for youth to demonstrate their learning, celebrate their accomplishments and interact with others who share their interest in robotics and programming. The event is open to ALL Youth, not just 4-H members. It consists of the regular VEX Skyrise Competition, Robot Skills Challenge and Programming Challenges for middle and high school teams. A robotics competition for younger students, a Scratch Programming Competition and a LEGO building competition will also take place at the Invitational. It's an invitational where EVERYONE is invited!

  • Robofest Site: 2nd Annual RoboParade, Jefferson City, MO, Robofest

    Robofest is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of physical science, computer science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Students design, construct, and program the robots. Any robotics kits are allowed in the construction of robots.   • FIRST Championship (World Championship), Edward Jones Dome

    The FIRST Championship is the culmination of the season's FIRST programs, bringing together three separate robotics competitions for the ultimate Sport for the Mind™. The event includes the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Championship, the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) World Championship, and the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) World Festival. Also featured is the Junior FIRST LEGO League (Jr.FLL) World Festival Expo.
