Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • 2016 Robot and Technology Expo, Mineral Area College

    Full day of robot fun for the entire family. The 2016 Robot and Technology Expo is an opportunity for youth to demonstrate their knowledge, celebrate their accomplishments and interact with others who share their interest in robotics, programming, and all things tech. This event is open to all youth and the public at large. It consists of several competitions: VEX Skills Events, VEX Nothing But Net Competition, Robofest Game and Exhibition Events, a Scratch Programming Competition and a LEGO Building Competition. . Youth may participate in one or more events.There will also be free hands-on activities for families to enjoy..

  • Robofest Competition - Mineral Area College, Mineral Area College

    Robofest is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and math (STEM) and Computer Science. Students design, construct, and program the robots. Teams can register at http://robofest.net/

  • 11th Annual Robotics Design Challenge – 2016, University of Missouri

    Robotics Design Challenge is an event for K-8 youth, where they build LEGO-robots with a variety of sensors, and program them to accomplish a given task. The Challenge has been hosted annually since 2006 by the Center staff, in collaboration with K-12 teachers, 4-H and other community organizations. The goal is to introduce STEM skills at a an early age, and to motivate them to pursue science and engineering careers.

  • 2016 FIRST Championship, Edward Jones Dome

    In FIRST STRONGHOLDSM, two Alliances of three robots each are on a Quest to breach their opponents’ fortifications, weaken their tower with boulders, and capture the opposing tower. Robots score points by breaching opponents’ defenses and scoring boulders through goals in the opposing tower.
