Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • Discovery Lab Robotics Week , Tulsa Children's Museum Discovery Lab

    National Robotics Week at Discovery Lab, April 2-9. Discovery Lab is proud to participate in National Robotics Week with a week of family-friendly hands-on activities, demos, and classes to inspire involvement, educate participants, and celebrate robotics and other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math-related fields (STEM). Discovery Lab’s Robotics Week will culminate with a Robotics Fair on Saturday, April 9th. This is a day dedicated to providing hands-on robotics experiences and fun for kids of all ages. Join us for the grand opening of Tinkering Studio, our new traveling exhibit from Oklahoma Museum Network funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, and demos and activities presented by several robotics groups from local schools, and more. Discovery Lab Robotics Week includes: --Jr. Bot Ball and First Lego League demonstration by Carnegie 4th grade --Hands-on activities and classes by museum educators including Circuit Blocks, Coding, Dress like a Robot, Bumper Bots, and more --Oklahoma Museum Network Tinkering Studio Grand Opening --Demos and activities by local school robotics groups including Dove Science First Robotic Team, Memorial High School First Robotic Team, Jenks High School Prime Movers, and Moore Elementary First Lego League Robotics Week activities are FREE with Discovery Lab admission.   • TSA State Conference VEX IQ, Reed Convention Center

    Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, will build a robot using the VEX IQ robotics platform to solve an engineering challenge that is presented in the form of a game. VEX IQ Challenge teams will work together scoring points in Teamwork Matches, and also display their robot’s skills individually in driver controlled and autonomous Skills Challenges.

  • TSA State Conference VEX VRC, Reed Convention Center

    The VEX Robotics Competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the ultimate STEM activity for middle school and high school students (ages 11-18). Each year, an engineering challenge is presented in the form of a game. Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, use the VEX Robotics Design System to build innovative robots designed to score the most points possible in qualification matches, elimination matches and Skills Challenges. In addition to having a great time and building amazing robots, through their participation in the VEX Robotics Competition and their work within their team, students will learn many academic and life skills.
