National Robotics Week 2018 Events

Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • 2016 PNW Dist 8 – Clackamas Academy of Industrial Sciences, Clackamas Academy of Industrial Sciences

    In FIRST STRONGHOLDSM, two Alliances of three robots each are on a Quest to breach their opponents’ fortifications, weaken their tower with boulders, and capture the opposing tower. Robots score points by breaching opponents’ defenses and scoring boulders through goals in the opposing tower.     Come and experience firsthand the excitement of a FIRST® Robotics Competition event! Combining the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology, this is the ultimate Sport for the Mind™. Watch as student-built-robots compete in the 2016 challenge, FIRST STRONGHOLD.     The MATE Center uses underwater robots – also known as remotely operated vehicles or ROVs – to teach science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and prepare students for technical careers.
