National Robotics Week 2018 Events

Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • Robotics Park, Martin Middle School

    Now in its 22nd year, Robotics Park is an expo of robotic presentations and demonstrations created by K-12 students from across Rhode Island. Held annually in the spring, Robotics Park exhibits include an array of interesting robotic and mechanical inventions. Robotics Park is an event that includes ART to turn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) into STEAM. Participants are encouraged to use art materials in their projects and use language arts to describe their work for the guests visiting the event. Robotics Park includes displays and demonstrations of : Robotic Animals in their Habitats Interactive Robotics and Mechanical Creations Robots on the Runway: A robot fashion show A Chain Reaction Machine A Robot Parade Scratch Programming Creature Feature Feeding Frenzy Junior FIRST LEGO League The Robotics Park teams will delight and entertain you with their clever and creative creations! The event includes over 100 robotic and mechanical projects. You’ll also discover opportunities to make LEGO jewelry, learn to program in Scratch, and participate in other hands-on activities designed to engage visitors in the design process.

  • Robot Block Party, Brown University

    Rhode Island School of the Future, in partnership with the Humanity Centered Robotics Initiative at Brown University, showcase the best of Rhode Island's robotics, engineering, computer science and manufacturing technology at the Robot Block Party, a National Robotics Week event. See cool demos and displays from Industry, Universities, and K-12 programs across the state at this free all-ages event.
