National Robotics Week 2018 Events

Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • USD Robotic Programming Contest for High School Teams, University of South Dakota

    Out of the computer lab and into the robotic arena, high school programmers will put their skills to the test in a battle of 'bots at USD's Muenster Unviersity Center. The competition's new format will have students programming their USD-provided robots at their schools leading up to a robot-race showdown at USD on April 8.

  • Engineering EXPO: Hill Climber, Swiftel Center

    This is one of many competitions available for high school students attending South Dakota State University's Annual Engineering EXPO may choose to participate in. Students participating in this competition must, prior to the competition day, design and fabricate a vehicle that can climb a ramp under its own power, stop at the top of the ramp, and sustain its position against an opposing vehicle coming up the other side of the ramp. The vehicle must be autonomous with no remote control or power.
