National Robotics Week 2018 Events

Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2017! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The ninth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 7-15, 2018 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

  • FIRST Open House, Tabb Library

    We will have 3 levels of First Lego Robotics in one place. Junior FIRST Lego League, FIRST Lego League, FIRST Tech Challenge. The teams will be having demos of their robots, questions and answers, team building activities and much more. Come and check us out.

  • Yuri's Night, Virginia Air and Space Center

    FRC team 2363, Triple Helix, will be demonstrating our 2013 FIRST robotics competition robot, Genome Epsilon, at the Virginia Air and Space Center's Yuri's Night celebration from 7pm to 9:30pm.

  • Greater DC/Virginia BotBall Tournament, Mount Vernon HS

    Regional tournaments are held approximately 7-9 weeks after the regional workshops. During that 7-9 week period, students build, program and document a pair of autonomous robots to compete at the tournament.

  • Virginia Western Community College [VWCC ] Spring 2014 Autonomous Robot Competition, Virginia Western Community College

    This evening of robots and fun is similar to the Fall 2013 competition held at VWCC and will use the same track format and robot design guidelines using a Parallax Boe-Bot kit, and all teams will be responsible for any extra parts. In addition to the competition, the Roanoke Robotics club will be exhibiting autonomous and remote control sumo-bots during the evening.
