  • Live Lab Tour: Robotic Ankle Prosthesis , Michigan Technological University

Join @mturesearch from Michigan Technological University 1:30-2:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday April 5 for a live tour of the HIRo Lab. HIRo stands for human-interactive robotics lab and is led by Mo Rastgaar, known for his falcon drone catcher. The lab focuses on Mo's research to make better a ankle prosthesis. Along with lab manager Evandro Ficanha, Mo and his team use a variety of robotic tools to test human biomechanics and robotic designs. The key is all in the ankle--a surprisingly complex joint.
