E Week Open House,
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Engineers Week at UNL culminates with a public open house when engineering students display their projects for hundreds of guests, including middle and high school classes. In its centennial year, UNL E-Week Open House adds a new feature: a Robotics Zone, featuring work by Nebraska Engineering students and faculty. Surgical robotics will be displayed, Nebraska’s Robo-Ops team will demonstrate their rover before competing at NASA, UNL’s NIMBUS Lab will present UAVs, CEENbots will offer hands-on opportunities to operate their robotics, and AIAA students will engage visitors in “junkyard wars” to build robots from old parts along with Arduino and micro-controllers.
