Build a robot, draw a robot, code a robot with your friends. There are no rules other then to share the excitement of robotics with your friends, family, or community. Share with us how you will be celebrating!
Join us for the first Annual RF SumoBot Competition!
Prizes will be awarded!
Participants will be competing for the title of Top Bot in these classes:
- Standard (with a mass of up to 3 kg and fitting inside a 20 cm by 20 cm box, any height)
- Mini (Up to 500 g mass, 10 cm by 10 cm, any height)
- Micro (Up to 100 g mass, must fit in a 5 cm cube.)
SumoBots will be further classified into the following categories: autonomous, remote controlled, and r/c humanoid (without the given size restrictions)

The University of Utah Department of Mechanical Enginering Design Day is an exciting display of engineering projects. The main focus is the Senior Design Showcase showing their work for the year. Also part of the festivities are the robotic competitions where freshman design, sophomore thermodynamics and junior mechatronics student teams compete.
