DeGeest Steel Works invites 60 students and faculty from the Lake Area Technical Institute Welding Technology Program in for a facility tour. The welding profession is known for its versatility in countless industries, especially when trained in the latest technology. At DeGeest, we advocate for workforce development in our industry by showing real-world applications of what students are learning in the classroom and help them see the rewarding careers in manufacturing.
DeGeest is always striving to push the boundaries on what is possible in manufacturing. We are adding more robotics and automation in welding, storage, software, blasting, washing, drying, painting and packaging to enhance our talented work force to accomplish more.
