National Robotics Week 2017 Events

Thank you to everyone who hosted, promoted, and participated in National Robotics Week 2016! With your continuing help, we had over 300 events for Robo Week. The eighth annual National Robotics Week will be held April 8-16, 2017 and promises to be even bigger! Submit your own event!

Alabama Robotics Contest, University of Alabama
The Alabama Robotics Competition is an event where students write programs that navigate their robot across a series of obstacle courses. Awards will be given out in several categories across multiple grade levels (elementary school, middle school, and high school).

Northern Gulf Coast Regional ROV Competition, Dauphin Island Sea Lab
The Dauphin Island Sea Lab serves as the regional site for the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) program's ROV competition. Teams of middle and high school students, along with their teachers/mentors, design, build, and test their own ROV before coming to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab to compete against other student teams in a series of scientific missions. The competition also includes an oral presentation and poster on the engineering aspects of the ROV. 3 day event starting Friday, April 21- April 23, 2017.
