  • Georgia Tech Open House and Tours, Georgia Institute of Technology

    Georgia Tech’s National Robotics Week open house will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12th. Since the launch of National Robotics Week in 2010, Georgia Tech has participated annually in the event by sponsoring an open house and conducting lab tours and robot demonstrations for middle and high school students and other members of the community. Sponsored by Georgia Tech’s Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM), our 2018 event features demos of new robots and labs, including the Robotarium.

  • Gray's Reef Southeast MATE ROV Competition, Chatham County Aquatic Center

    Southeast regional robotics teams from K12-College will compete in three classes of competition at the exciting, 15th annual Gray's Reef Southeast MATE ROV Competition. Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary partners with the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center to engage students in learning ocean sciences, technologies, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in support of the sanctuaries’ mission to inspire ocean literacy and conservation through education. The primary mission of the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Center is to provide the marine technical workforce with appropriately educated workers and to use marine technology to create interest in and improve STEM education.
