Join us on April 4th for a free Robotics expo, hosted by us! Robotics week is all about inspiring students to become a part of STEM-related fields and to share the excitement of robotics, and all ages are welcome to come and partake.
You will see special guests like Amazon Robotics, and local FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team, LightSpeed showcasing their robotic builds as well as some other local FTC and FRC Teams! Ipswich Public Schools is hosting their fourth Annual District-Wide STEAM Showcase on Tuesday April 7, 2020 from 5-7:00 pm in the Ipswich Middle/High School Lower Gym. STEAM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math education that engages students with a sense of wonder about our ever-changing world through questioning, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. The STEAM Showcase will celebrate the great STEAM work from students and their teachers grades PreK-12 as well as to exhibit the products, research, and services of local STEAM businesses. The goal of this event is to educate community members about STEAM and the innovative learning they are supporting, gather real-time local problems and foster solutions through STEAM teaching and learning, and to inspire STEAM education. There will be hands-on activities for families.
