  • Tech Fest, The Works Museum

    Tech Fest family event features amazing hands-on fun for curious kids! The Works, the hands-on engineering museum for kids in Bloomington, will host its 10th annual Tech Fest family event on Saturday, February 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Museum will explode with activity as The Works and science and engineering partners from all over the Twin Cities fill the Museum with live demos and activities for curious kids and their families! Tech Fest offers a unique chance for families to learn about engineering and technology from real engineers and scientists. With activities like Tech Take-Apart, where kids destroy old electronics to explore the components inside, visits from high school robotics teams, and demonstrations from corporations, attendees can explore a wide variety of technology. Where: The Works Museum. 9740 Grand Ave S.; Bloomington. Who: Open to the public, Tech Fest is for kids, families and anyone who loves to explore engineering! Event fee: $6 per person. Member price is $4 per person. Kids 2 and under are free. No passes or coupons accepted. Buy tickets at the door or online at www.theworks.org.
