Scaremongers play on the idea that robots will simply replace people on the job. In fact, they can become our essential collaborators, freeing us up to spend time on less mundane and mechanical challenges. This shift is happening now, not just in the industrial sphere but in our everyday lives. Rodney Brooks, of iRobot and Rethink Robotics fame will explain why 2014 is a key turning point in our increasing collaboration with robots, and answer questions from the virtual audience! This event is hosted by Wizeo. Access to the talk is by donation, with proceeds benefiting BUILD: a hands-on entrepreneurship training and college preparation program for underprivileged high-schoolers.
