Join @mturesearch from Michigan Technological University 1:30-2:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday April 5 for a live tour of the HIRo Lab. HIRo stands for human-interactive robotics lab and is led by Mo Rastgaar, known for his falcon drone catcher. The lab focuses on Mo's research to make better a ankle prosthesis. Along with lab manager Evandro Ficanha, Mo and his team use a variety of robotic tools to test human biomechanics and robotic designs. The key is all in the ankle--a surprisingly complex joint.

We are pleased to announce the Adafruit drone film festival! The Adafruit Dronies celebrates videos taken from drones. The contest is open to everyone in the United States to show and share their amazing drone videos. You'll be judged on creative use of technology, storytelling, and cinematography.
