LaterLab is the ultimate playground for innovation, creativity, and connection! Designed for Makers of all kinds, this hands-on space in CREATE at Arizona Science Center® invites you to bring your ideas to life using professional-grade tools and materials. From 3D printing and laser cutting to woodworking and sewing—LaterLab has everything you need to build, innovate, and explore your creativity. On Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., CREATE opens its doors for LaterLab—giving aspiring artists, handiwork enthusiasts, and curious creatives the chance to explore new skills, hone their craft, and connect with like-minded Makers. Whether you’re fostering a hobby, kickstarting a small business, or simply exploring a new interest, LaterLab welcomes Makers of all backgrounds and curiosities. Participation Requirements: To take part in LaterLab, Makers must complete one of CREATE’s Skill Studio workshops or have previously taken a Creator Course. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety.

The Rhode Island Computer Museum (RICM) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1999 in Rhode Island to preserve our rich vintage computer history and offer a glimpse of the past. RICM's mission statement is "procuring and preserving items that relate to computer science and its history; disseminating knowledge, and encouraging research in computer science by means of visits, lectures, discussions, and publications. Combining the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. We call FIRST Robotics Competition the ultimate Sport for the Mind. High-school student participants call it “the hardest fun you’ll ever have.”

North Dakota’s Gateway to Science STEM Adventure Mini-Camps are held during the school year on select days when there is no school, following the Bismarck Public Schools calendar. Each camp day is a new STEM adventure, filled with exciting projects and activities that guarantee fun and learning. Mini-camps run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with check-in starting at 7:45 a.m. Campers should bring their own lunches for a supervised break, along with a water bottle and snacks for morning and afternoon breaks.

Discover how to train your robot, from learning how to connect basic circuits and bring your bot to life, to programming your bots to navigate complex mazes. The tools are at your fingertips! $100 per camper (members: $90) Snack and beverage provided. Campers will need to bring a lunch.

STEM Storytime is our weekly themed story time for pre-K kids at the science center. Each week, we'll read a different book related to a STEAM concept and explorers will have the opportunity to complete an accompanying activity.

MassRobotics is hosting workshops for middle and high school students from April 6-10. Space is limited and classes must be registered in advance. Please contact STEM@MassRobotics.org to reserve a spot.

The Paper Merry-Go-Round Project is a hands-on craft that combines creativity, engineering, and decoration to make a miniature spinning carousel. Using paper cups as the base, participants construct a circular “platform” with a central pivot that allows the cups or seats to rotate like a real merry-go-round. The craft can be personalized with colors, patterns, and embellishments to mimic animals, fairground rides, or whimsical designs.

The Spring Symposium Series is an annual set of meetings run in parallel at a common site. It is designed to bring colleagues together in an intimate forum while at the same time providing a significant gathering point for the AI community. The two-and-a-half-day format of the series allows participants to devote considerably more time to feedback and discussion than typical one-day workshops. It is an ideal venue for bringing together new communities in emerging fields.

Wonder Lab introduces visitors of all ages into the world of coding and programming. This open learning environment uses playful elements to teach users the basics, as well as interactive stations to test out their knowledge and increase their confidence in coding.
