Students have the opportunity to explore 20 exhibits focused on AI, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics, challenging themselves to decode various elements. The summit will feature interactive displays and workshops designed to familiarize middle and high school students with the growing career paths in AI, Cyber Security and Data Analytics that are essential for our nation.

There’s so much to see and do at the Cosmosphere, with new exhibits and experiences launching all the time. Start with the Hall of Space Museum, which holds some of the most famous space artifacts from history, including a genuine Atlas Booster Engine and a mission control console used during the moon landing.

Defense- focused summit on unmanned and autonomous systems (air, land, sea, space, cyber), with DoD, military, industry, and academic leaders discussing autonomous tech, counter‐UAS, AI-enabled swarms, and operational integration.

Science en Acción (SeA) @ Berkeley Lab is a 4 day, spring break camp (April 8-11, 2026) for English learning and Spanish-English bilingual students who are interested in learning more about STEM and career opportunities at Berkeley Lab. Activities include tours of Berkeley Lab facilities, career talks with scientists, and workshops both at Berkeley Lab and University of California Berkeley! These events will be in English and Spanish. Participating in SeA can also be a step toward a summer internship at Berkeley Lab.

McWane Science Center will be celebrating robotics all week long with daily, hands-on activities. Build circuits, program robots, and complete coding challenges in our Tinker Shop and Workshop. On Saturday, April 11th, join us for a battle bot competition hosted by Rocket City Combat Robots. All programming is free with the purchase of museum admission. Join us for STEAM Club Jr, little learners ages 3–6 become curious creators as they explore the wide world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through playful, hands-on adventures! Each week brings a brand-new challenge—designing, building, experimenting, inventing, or imagining something completely new. With simple tools, open-ended materials, and lots of room to follow their ideas, children get to tinker, test, and discover how things work while expressing their creativity. It’s a joyful blend of learning and play that sparks big questions, builds confidence, and nurtures the problem-solvers and innovators of tomorrow!
