Our Full STEAM Ahead Spring Break Day Camp is the place for them! They will be immersed in a day of LEGO STEAM challenges and art creation, including LEGO printmaking and collaborative BricQ Motion Essential design challenges exploring the science of force and motion!

The Spring Symposium Series is an annual set of meetings run in parallel at a common site. It is designed to bring colleagues together in an intimate forum while at the same time providing a significant gathering point for the AI community. The two-and-a-half-day format of the series allows participants to devote considerably more time to feedback and discussion than typical one-day workshops. It is an ideal venue for bringing together new communities in emerging fields.

Wonder Lab introduces visitors of all ages into the world of coding and programming. This open learning environment uses playful elements to teach users the basics, as well as interactive stations to test out their knowledge and increase their confidence in coding.

SEE offers visitors of all ages the opportunity to enjoy fun, hands-on science exhibits and interactive demonstrations.

Founded in May of 1990 in Bozeman, Montana by visionary collector George Keremedjiev, the American Computer & Robotics Museum inspires visitors of all ages to explore the past and imagine the future of the Information Age through thought-provoking exhibits, innovative storytelling, and the bold exchange of ideas.

Stop by the spectrUM Discovery Area on Level Two Tuesday through Saturday to explore a guided science activity.

Build and program robots in this introductory robotics class using the newest LEGO® Spike Prime® and Essential® systems. In addition to building skills, students will learn basic computer programming through simple, visual block coding. Older students will have the opportunity to write code in Python. Throughout the class, students will build a variety of robots using motors, sensors, and lights, creating a fun experience that fosters problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Projects will be assigned based on each student’s age and skill level, with weekly activities that gradually increase in complexity. This is a great way to prepare students for more advanced robotics programs.

3D Printer available for public use. Staff can provide basic help finding free 3D files online and using Cura Ultimaker 3D printing software. Print jobs taking more than 3 hours should be taken to the MakerSpace at the downtown branch of Missoula Public Library.

Calling all young architects! Get inspired by building challenges or create a masterpiece of your very own during this drop-in, free-build time. LEGO® Club builders will have the opportunity to put their creations on display for the whole library to enjoy until the next session. For kids 5 to 12.

Get started with Swift, the language used to create apps and programs for iOS and macOS. The program is self-paced and will introduce the language and get participants started with the Swift Playgrounds app. Perfect for 5-10-year-olds who can read and follow written instructions! Participants will understand more about coding, this class is your first leap into the vast and exciting world of programming.

We supply the bricks. Just bring a ton of imagination and get ready to build. The sky's the limit! For kids 6 and up.

Lego Club, for ages 5-11, meets the first Tuesday of every month at New Castle Public Library from 6:00-7:00pm. Come build themed Lego designs with family and friends!
