Students are welcome to share any STEM related project! Perhaps it was a simple experiment they did at home, something they unexpectedly discovered, or a project the whole class conducted, or some observations they made over time... they are taking their first steps as scientists! This expo gives students an opportunity to share their explorations on a public platform for family, peers, and members of the community to learn what our young keiki are interested in.

Join us for a FUN and engaging club where 6-8th grade students will dive into the basics of coding with script-based programming. Through hands-on projects and creative challenges, students will learn how to write simple code, and develop problem-solving skills that spark curiosity and confidence.

Dive into the exciting world of robotics, where creativity meets technology. Get hands on as you design, program, and control a variety of robotics from Ozobots to Spheros to complete a variety of challenges. For ages Pre-K to K, grades K-2, and grades 3-5.

Bot Hockey is an electrifying sport that pits two teams of three robots against each other in a fast-paced battle for victory. Picture a human roller hockey rink buzzing with anticipation as these mechanical marvels engage in a 10-minute match, each maneuvering with precision and agility to outsmart their opponents. Come hang out with fellow builders, show off your robot, and enjoy an awesome day of combat robotics.

Join us every Saturday for a FUN, hands on exploration into different areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math! Students will take part in unique activities, collaborative challenges or create take-home projects using high-tech Fab Lab equipment like the vinyl cutter, laser cutter, 3D printers and more.

STEM Day is designed to spark student interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through interactive activities, demonstrations, and problem-solving experiences across multiple STEM disciplines. We anticipate welcoming approximately 1,200 middle and high school students from across the region.

This spring, ID3A, KCARE and Kansas 4-H are co-hosting an engaging Ag Tech Day in Moundridge, Kansas at Flickner Innovation Farm. This event is geared for youth in grades 5-12 the unique opportunity to explore the farm and learn about both new and established technologies that are helping make farm management easier and more efficient for producers. A wide variety of stations will be set up around the farm for attendees to visit while they learn from presenters.
